So now my mum is expecting me to help her pay insurance for the house and for her car accident. Since when was that my fucking responsibility? I do believe I’m 16, jobless and earning my money through the rare DJ jobs that I do these days… And she’s complaining that I’ve never given her money. I’m so pissed off right now. I do partially regret quitting my job because apparently they set up all the sound and lighting for “Forever Young U18’s” That would have been a good opportunity but I didn’t know they were doing it at all.
I want to get into a lot more session work as a musician. A session musician is someone who sits in and plays for an artist for like one recording or one tour. Then he/she may get hired by someone else and then play for them for a short amount of time. I know a guy that knows a guy that did session work for Lady Gaga. So happy for myself. Just finished all of Methods holiday homework in under 2 days which was all of exercise 5.1. If this was me 2 years ago, I would’ve left homework until like 3 days before the end of holidays but I’m surprised that I actually made an effort to finish some of it early :)
I’m a tad frustrated… I feel like I’m losing my touch on the drums. I feel like I’m not as good as I was a couple of years ago, and that my playing has depreciated. I would do anything I can to get back to where I was or even better, because I don’t want to lose my touch any further :(
